Lakeview Pub and Carvery, Bowness-on-Windermere
Overcharging us three quid -- Not terribly bright.
Getting the order wrong (roast potato instead of poppadom) -- Not terribly bright.
Serving thing-with-sauce in a basket -- Not terribly bright.

Providing a leaflet "please complete our short survey" and then coding it in a way that doesn't work on two different mainstream industry-standard browsers -- Not terribly bright.

It's a shame it isn't on Beerintheevening - that's usually a good place for roasting pubs that don't come up to standard (or praising good ones, of course).

I've had an anonymous (and therefore currently screened) comment from 78.150.93.54 providing an alternative point of view -- if the person who commented wants to identify themselves, can convince me they're not a spammer, and is willing to assert that they're not commercially linked to the establishment I've reviewed, then I'll think about unscreening their comment.

Awful! Give Crown Carvery's a bad name!!

My OH wanted just ham and so was given just one slice of ham - he could have had ham, beef and turkey which is obviously three slices - at other carvery's if you just have one type of meat you get three slices of it.

Roast potato's were soggy and the staff extremely unhelpful.

Will not be going back.
