So some of you will remember that my little brother had an accident with a circular saw a while ago, and this is the first time I've seen him since.|

That's not bad. Does he have full mobility and is he still in pain?
He claims not to have pain unless he overdoes it. Tendons a little shorter where they've been reattached, so he can't simultaneously make a fist and flex his wrist yet, but he's assured that'll come in time.
I did not know this had happened. Poor chap!! I hope he gets a decent amount of recovery back and that he has been told not to be such a silly bugger in the future.
He's making excellent progress. I'm sure he'll continue to be just as silly, though.

Excellent. He very wisely did all the damage on the outside of the arm, well away from arteries and nerve trunks, so it's just tendons to re-attach and muscles to rebuild. He's doing very well.
Ouch! At least both ends are still connected.
That's is quite some impressive healing. Does he have any lingering side effects?
See the replies above. He has shortened finger tendons where they've been reconnected, but otherwise there's very little damage -- missed the big arterial and nerve trunks completely.
