|Chris Croughton's Funeral...

keristor's funeral was today and, by any possible measure, was excellent. I didn't get the chance to count properly, but there were in the region of seventy or eighty of us there, and about 90% of the crowd were connected in some way to filk.|

This was at the Green Burial Ground near Olney. The coffin is woven grasses, and in due time he'll be feeding a tree as per his instructions.
A good one. Well done everybody.
Edit: if anyone wants to link to this post or the photo, they can do so with my blessing.
Thanks for this.
My mother is buried in the same place - it's a lovely site - and my Dad has a spot booked next to her.
Thank you for this. I'd have been there if it was in any way practical.
Oh, and may I link to this post?
I'll add a link from my "FunRep"
post too, if that's OK?
Did you get any other shots, BTW? By quirk of camera angle, in this shot Hilary is completely hidden behind Donna... But I wondered if that might have been deliberate (i.e. you thought it would be too intrusive)?
Anyway, if anyone needs evidence that *I* was there, I can point to the top of my head, just behind bardling
Thanks. I'd meant to bring a camera myself, but totally forgot when packing this morning.
It's the only one I took, anyone who got hidden did so by chance only.
Yes, you can link to it, and so can anyone else who happens by.
Yes, thank you for the post and the picture. Keristor will be greatly missed.
Definitely thanks for this. Rest well, Chris.
Thanks for this. I didn't even notice you taking the picture! I took my own camera, but never got it out of the bag.
Adieu à notre bon ami Keris.
Thanks for this; I shall miss seeing Keris at conventions.
