TCASU is a sort of unconventional convention, a "weekend of the wondrous", in Ireland, at the end of October. And part of the wondrousness is the three of us (and possibly others) getting our heads shaved.
I'm using this, as are these two friends of mine, as an excuse to raise some money for a favourite charity.
Cancer Research UK is the largest volunteer-supported cancer research organisation in the world. It was formed in February 2002 as a result of the merger between The Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. They do very good work, and they would very much like some of your money so that they can do more of it. It's a couple of years since the last time I did anything substantial for the (then) ICRF, and I'm pleased to be able to do so again, but I want your help.
