Mother and the Internet

I'm at Mother's for the weekend. Her internet connection (ADSL from Nildram) is now up. Hurrah! No more crappy BT-Click dial-up.

Now I need to unbox her new PC, and then install Windows, antivirus, a bunch of drivers, MS Office, SSH server, VNC server, and a dynamic DNS client. What fun.

Then I can copy a bunch of data onto it from the shuttle I lent her a couple of months ago when her old PC died.

Happy birthday mum.
