German Tube Map

A number of people on my friends list have some familiarity with the German language.

A much larger number have some familiarity with, and/or affinity for, London. Some of those might be described as "tube geeks".

For the benefit of both groups, and the particular delight of the intersection of the two, I present this.

I'd credit whoever it was who first linked to it, but I can't remember and I can't find the post. Thanks to filkerdave for the link.

Retail Accident

I seem to have got myself a new camera. We'll see if I can work out how to use it.

In other news, I still have the old one, which would suit someone who isn't going to be too fussed about the fault. It works okay, but there are six places where you'll get a flaw on the photos, small groups of pixels that'll end up white whatever you're pointing the camera at. It's old enough to have disappeared from the manufacturer's website, but there's a good description of it here. It's three years and a few odd weeks old, it'll have a 128MB card with it, but I won't be able to find the manual and you'll have to find yourself a couple of rechargeable batteries and a charger because I'm hanging on to those.

A brief search suggests that this model seems to go on eBay for up to twenty quid, but clearly all goods sold on eBay are complete and in perfect condition, unlike this one. Actually listing the thing is too much like hard work. Does someone want to make me an offer for it?
