Traffic signals for disabled river-pilots.

As some of you know, there's a system of signals for the use of river pilots, which work similarly to the orange flashing "indicators" which you find on cars. There's a particular pattern of whistles or horn-blasts for "I am turning left", "I am turning right", and "My motor is running full astern".

I have some difficulty with my hearing, and particularly when there's the noise of a diesel engine coming from beneath my feet, I have trouble distinguishing between these signals. For this reason, I've devised a system of visual signals, to parallel the system of whistles.
