No Internet at home ...

... I just have the light on the cable modem doing that slow wink which says "the line's up but the other end's not listening". As a result I'm not reading LJ at the moment, and I'm only doing edited highlights on email -- stuff that fits through GPRS, essentially.

So I'm posting this on the handset instead. One of these days, perhaps, scarlatti and I can both get online simultaneously.

So, content ... Umm ...

We sang this at Church this morning:
2. God is love, and is enfolding
all the world in one embrace;
His unfailing grasp is holding
every child of every race;
And when human hearts are breaking
under sorrow's iron rod,
That same sorrow, that same aching
wrings with pain the heart of God.
