WNBR 11th June

If you're not coming to ZZ9's Towel Picnic in Nottingham on June 11th, you may wish to consider participating in the World Naked Bike Ride, taking place in London, Brighton, Manchester, Yorkshire, Edinburgh, Anglesey and all over the rest of the world.

The June 2004 naked bike rides in the UK went really well. The police didn't arrest or harrass any riders. The members of the public were delighted and amused. For many, it was their first time cycling nude in public. At the Hyde Park ride, we inspired nearly a dozen clothed cyclists to disrobe spontaneously and join our leisurely nude ride.

The largest UK rides were in Edinburgh (60-70 cyclists) and London (58 cyclists and a few skaters). The smallest UK ride was in Sussex where two nude riders made their cheeky protest.

On Saturday the 11th of June, we will be riding again in several UK locations. Please join the ride nearest to you. You don't actually have to go nude, just go as bare as you dare, and travel by bicycle or rollerblades. It's free, and its fun!

To join please fill out the form on the main page of the World Naked Bike Ride Site.

The UK ride can be reached by e-mail -- uk [at]
