Selfbaring ...

I did a long wordy survey which I found in loneraven's LJ.

x. mother thinks i am: She worries about me, she thinks I work too hard.
x. my grandmother thinks i am: Not a frequent enough visitor.
x. my grandfather thinks i am: Before he died, he and I had long talks about religion. He was better at debate than me.
x. my boyfriend/girlfriend thinks i am: I'm currently single.
x. three things you are often complimented for: Cooking, Teaching, Geeking.
x. a compliment you got that made you blush: I got one vote in the recent Nova ballot.
x. you get embarrassed when: I get it wrong when I should know better.
x. makes you happy: When it works.
x. upsets you: When it's not fair.

yes or no...
x. you keep a diary: Journal here, appointments on the laptop. Not terribly good at either.
x. you like to cook: Very much so, but I never have time.
x. you have a secret you have not shared with anyone: What, and I'm going to repeat it here?
x. you fold your underwear: Ha ha ha. No.
x. you talk in your sleep: No, but I'm told I snore.
x. you set your watch a few minutes ahead: No. I don't wear a watch, but I regularly adjust the clock on the mobile phone. I keep it as accurate as I can -- it's an O/C thing.
x. you bite your fingernails: Unfortunately, yes. I got some paint that made them taste like spider droppings -- I developed a taste for spider droppings.
x. you believe in love: Yes.

x. movie you rented: I've never rented a movie. I borrowed a couple of DVDs from flick and drpete recently.

x. CD you bought: Box set of five Philip Glass CDs
x. CD you listened to: "Songs of Distant Earth", Mike Oldfield

x. person that's called you: My mother left a message on the machine.
x. TV show you've watched: "Fight School" is on at the moment.
x. person you were thinking of: loneraven and her mother.

x. you wish you could live somewhere else: No. Well, if I could afford a house in London ...
x. you believe in online dating: No.
x. others find you attractive: You'd have to ask them. Maybe some do but no-one's said so recently.
x. you want more piercings: I have none -- and don't want any. If I had to have a body mod I wouldn't mind a tongue divided along its midline for the final inch and a half. Apparently you can move each half independently, can grip things with it ... Hmmm ...
