I didn't sleep well last night, and woke up too early and too tired.
My knees, which have been bothersome to a greater or lesser extent for years and fairly bad for the last month or so, have been particularly painful and dysfunctional today.
Although I'm always naturally clumsy, I'm rather more so today. I've been cleaning the kitchen, and have nearly dropped things three or four times, and actually dropped something (a plastic squeezy bottle of mayonnaise) once.
At 3pm I put the second load of washing in the machine, sorted out the detergent and so on, and then carried on with something else. I've just returned to the machine, and discovered that I've omitted to press the "start" button.
I've also forgotten to defrost the fridge.
I suspect that the lack of sleep has aggravated all the other symptoms. But I'd really rather like my body to be working properly sometime soon.
