Finger trouble.

As some of you know, I have a cavernous haemangioma. It's gathered around the distal end of the fourth metacarpus of my right hand, and the proximal phalanx of the corresponding finger.

Which, being translated, means that the ring finger of my right hand is a bit odd at times.

Anyway, it's flaring. Which means that I can't properly bend or fully straighten the fingers of my right hand. And it hurts quite a lot. It's been building up for a couple of days, and it's now settling in for some serious seizing of my attention and I don't like it at all.

Usually, when it does this, it settles down in a few days and then it's fine for a while. It's become disabling enough for surgery on two occasions in the past, and I really don't want it to do so again. But it's not usually as bad as this.

There's a school of thought that holds that this sort of thing is aggravated by stress. Hmmm.
