Nick was living in Feltham for some years while I was growing up. He was a good bridge player, a good cook, and a good all-round friend.
He was also head honcho at the National Marriage Guidance Council, subsequently called Relate, and later at Cruse, the bereavement counselling service.
His wife, Liz, was one of the first female Anglican priests in the Church of England -- Feltham always was a pioneering parish in that regard, despite being in a diocese with a very conservative Bishop.
Well done Nick. You did well. Have a good trip.
