Scarlatti is unwell...

scarlatti hasn't been able to get to a computer or a phone for about 48 hours now. I just phoned and talked to her mother, and scarlatti isn't doing very well. She's been on very strong painkillers (opioids and NSAIDs) and they've flattened her system. In addition her anti-nausea medication seems to have stopped working, and her mother is fighting to keep her hydrated.

She's supposed to be going for an ultrasound in search of kidneystones tomorrow. She's supposed to be going for an ascites drainage on Thursday. Whether she'll be in a condition to attend either of these appointments is anybody's guess.

Her mother has been in good communication with her doctor's office throughout. More news when I have it.
