I didn't know her, only read about you two in your journal all the time and I was so happy for you two... now I'm sitting here at work with tears in my eyes.
I'm really, really sorry.
I wish you much strenght.
I'm so sorry. It's just so awful.
I'm very sorry to hear that Doug. Sincere condolences.
So sorry. You and the rest of her family have my deepest sympathy.
My sincere condolences, Doug
Links are good. I'm sure I'll miss some of what people are writing. Thank you.
I pray that God will give all Susan's friends and family strength and comfort at this difficult time. I know that she is now in a better place, in God's Love, and I hope that knowledge helps.
Take care of yourself now, and remember the Joy you shared and gave to others.
My sympathies and condolences to you and her family.
I'm really sorry to hear that she is no longer with us. My condolences to you and all who loved her.

John Donne: Holy Sonnets X
DEATH be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not so,
For, those, whom thou think'st, thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleepe, which but thy pictures bee,
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell,
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleepe as well,
And better then thy stroake; why swell'st thou then;
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.
It is a privilege to have known her, even though we never met. My sympathy and love to you all.

It's funny how John Donne
gets it so right isn't it?
no matter what I say, will never be good enough. my heartfelt sympathies are with you nonetheless. Susan was a great person, I only wish I had had more time to get to know her properly.
