Susan died today, June 15th, at 1:11 p.m. Please forgive me for the lack of detail. I will write more later.

As indeed will I.

There's nothing I can think of to lessen your pain. My prayers are with you and her family.

I worked in the next office down from Susie for three years and got to meet her again through Livejournal. I'm so so sorry for your loss. She was a really truly wonderful person.

I really didn't know Susan, but I immensely enjoyed her writing. I am so, so sorry for you and her family. May you always treasure her memory and your love.

Today, after you wrote this but before I read it, I came across this. It seems apt.

"Sleep after toyle, port after stormie seas, Ease after warre, death after life, doth greatly please."

My sincere condolences to you and to all who were close to her.

At a time like this words seem inadequate. I'm sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear that Doug. I thought of you earlier today when iTunes randomly played Monty Python's Always Look On the Bright Side of Life (the one from the end of Life of Brian).

So sorry.
On the practical side of things is someone looking after you and making sure you eat, etc?
Give yourself the time to grieve, but look after yourself too - you know she'd want you too. (((((dougs and all scarlatti's family))))))
