I'm having a year out at the moment. A year when I'm not in office anywhere, where I can go to any of the meetings that I usually attend, confident that I'm not scheduled to do any work, and that I won't have to learn any words. It's one of the stresses I'm doing without for the time being.
What happened tonight? The Deputy Provincial Grand Superintendent was visiting. And they asked me to act as Principal Sojourner. What could I say?
"Any position to which your excellencies may be pleased to appoint me will be deemed an honour conferred."
Fortunately it wasn't a big ceremony.
