Great British Beer Festival

I've managed to escape the Great British Beer Festival having sampled only six different glasses of stuff.

Kelburn's Red Smiddy. This was the brewery we had at the Glasgow Worldcon and Eastercon. A nice pint.
Oakham's Bishops Farewell. Pale. Didn't like it much. Drank it anyway.
Delvin End's Smiling Moose. A cider, quite dry, 7%. Nice. From Essex.

At this point I took a bit of a break. I had a pork and pickle pie from (mmm, pie) and a random selection of olives from "Olives and Things". Back to the alcohol.

Hobsons' Town Crier. Darker than the Oakham: "straw-coloured". Not bad, but not a first choice.
Holder's Butt, from Gloucestershire, another Cider/Perry.
Ringwood's Boondoggle. I'd already decided I'd had enough, and then I won a beer token in a tombola. This was the result: another "summer beer", quite light, but not as offensive as "Bishops Farewell", passim.

I don't think I have a career as a beer critic waiting for me.

It's worth mentioning that I bumped into several Tun attendees including ½r, and suaveswede.
