WTF! WHY? I mean, I haven't seen chocolate falling out of fashion lately!
"a great disturbance in the biscuiverse, as if millions of voices cried out in Tescos and were suddenly silenced…"
I'm a plain chocolate digestive man myself, but you have my deepest sympathies.
I share your pain.
I refused to buy any biscuits in those silly expensive tubes...
Oh, dear, the grammar on that site...
It might of been the third biscuit to join the HobNob family
Having JUST bought my FIRST tube of Plain Chocolate HobNobs, I must say that I am NOT AT ALL AMUSED.
That is annoying. I will admit I prefer milk choc Hob Nobs, but the plain chocolate variety did make a welcome change. However, I don't like the airtight tube container, not because it's more expensive, but because it contains an awful lot of non-recyclable waste. It's the sort of thing I'd be tempted to buy one of (though I never have), but once I had one would reuse rather than buy another with each pack of biscuits.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one with similar concerns.
A complete disaster in my life! I hardly ever buy them because of the cost, and those stupid tubes, but as soon as I see them on special offer I buy up the entire shop. I have an open packet at the moment, and will need to savour every one that is left.
If I read the article correctly, they decided to experiment by stopping the cellophane packaging. This could not have been a success and the solution is not to return to the cheaper packaging, but cancel the whole biscuit!
We should start a campaign!
