Hogfather [Dec. 18th, 2006|10:00 pm]
Douglas Spencer
The makers of "Hogfather" on Sky One can afford to be pleased with their work. That is all.

Oh wait, one other thing. My inner Phoebe is sorry that I don't know anyone called Monica. </cryptic>

I really enjoyed Hogfather and I'm pleased to say so did the Monkeys. It's always a bit tense when something so well imagined is given the TV treatment, but I wasn't disappointed at all. It's the first time they, the Monkeys, have encountered Discworld - the fact that my 15 year old managed to stick with it says a lot, though we have Death to thank for that :)

Only watched the first part so far but very good. However it is a little slow and the constant switching between short scenes is slightly annoying. I expect that once Susan reaches the Tooth Fairy's castle it will speed up.
