I'm off down to the server farm next week to do some upgrading, some re-routing, and some general mucking about.
As a result, access to systems that I host down there will be interrupted at unpredictable times between 10am and 4pm UK time on Thursday 18th January. It probably means that DNS, Web, SMTP/IMAP, SSH/login/SCP/file storage and RDP/TSC services will be going up and down all day, interrupting operations on pretty much any of the services under avdar.net, distraction.org.uk, dougs.org.uk, persephonehazard.co.uk and possibly a couple of other names I haven't thought of yet.
If you're planning on doing any stuff with any services hosted on any of my servers on Thursday of next week, then you might wish to modify your plans. I'll try to keep disruption to a minimum, but you know how these things sometimes go.
It'll probably happen again on one day the following week, possibly Thursday 25th.
