About 80%... [Jan. 25th, 2007|10:28 pm]

I am full of haggis. It was very good.

However, there's a pile of the Stepson's paperwork and shoes in front of the cuboard which contains the nice whisky, and I just didn't fancy the stuff in the other cupboard, so I've had some inexpensive Californian white wine instead. I feel like a bit of a fraud.

Haggis also. Sainsbuggers had run out when I went there but I hung around for a bit and there was more in a while. Now that the Mailcoach in Shepherds Bush (where we used to do Burns Night) has been demolished, we need to make our own entertainment ... and a bit of Glenlivet also.

Glenlivet over here too.

It was already open. I'm on my own tonight. The Nice Bottle of Macallan will probably wait until a special occasion.

I had haggis once while in Dublin a few years back. I can’t say that I am a big fan from that experience, however I do know quite a bit about California wine. Forget the inexpensive stuff. If you get a chance to come to the ‘Golden State’ and visit, it will be my pleasure to take you on a full tour of the Northern California wine country. And maybe you can teach me a thing or two about haggis.
