Mother's birthday party... [Jun. 2nd, 2007|01:00 am]
Douglas Spencer
Mother's 70th birthday party was a great successs. Something like 120 people in attendance, ranging in age from about 2 to a little over 90 and from places as far afield as Aberdeen, Kilkenny, Cornwall and Kent. There was music, there was a quiz, there were silly games. There was a great deal of food and drink. No-one suffered serious injury. We had Anglicans, Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, URC... and almost 60% of the clergy in attendance were heterosexual.

It was a good night. Hurrah!

Fantastic, my darling. I hope you got the kudos you deserve. Hangover? Sleep it off, and ride high on that elation for a while. See you Thursday. Love & smoochies.

Sounds like a great day was had by all.

Richard is 50 today, but that will be a lot quieter as neither of the boys are here.
