Paging Envoy... SF-Fandom related LJ communities [Jul. 25th, 2007|09:19 pm]
Douglas Spencer
The communities I was going to point you at are called anonymousclaire and uk_sf_events, although you may want also to follow eastercon and the relevant year-specific communities orbital_2008/lx2009, Worldcon communities nippon2007 and jets2007, other convention communities such as redemption_con and novacon_37, and possibly other things like fanfunds and bsfa_news.

Possibly, November's fairly open at this point. How big's the con and what's the focus?

200-220 attendees, main emphasis on written sf but with a equally strong emphasis on hanging out with fellow fans. Hotel design helps: large central bar, and all programme items on one level. Second longest-running sf convention in the UK.

Full details at the website (see my icon).
