was discussing brad briefly on Sunday. I got the impression that LJ was just his hobby nowadays and that he was working on other stuff. Hmmm. Will go read the word from the horses mouth now.

Brad Fitzpatrick founded LiveJournal as a place where his friends could play. It went live in May 1999.

He sold the company which runs LJ to Six Apart in January 2005.
