Nominations to the post of user representative to the LiveJournal Advisory Board are now open. You can nominate yourself by going here [non-Cyrillic] or here [Cyrillic] -- and you can see who has nominated themselves by going here or here, where you can carefully consider who you might wish to have as a representative and help your chosen candidate[s] towards one hundred "I support this nomination" comments. Thus far I've commented in support of cambler and seph_hazard, and I'm interested to see who else puts themselves forward.

I don't think I am. I've spent much of the last couple of years easing myself out of positions of responsibility in three or four different fields, not least because on a couple of occasions I've reacted poorly to stress, and in particular to stress caused by close proximity to idiots. I suspect that if I offer to take this on I'll be put in exactly the same position once again.
