Nildram's accounts department

Do people actually own shares in this company? Extraordinary.

Once again, Nildram have sent out many thousands of letters to their customers telling them that their direct debits have failed and instructing them to contact the accounts department to arrange alternative methods of payment ... when all those direct debits were processed normally without incident five days earlier. Just like they did in October 2007.

No word yet on whether they're claiming it's attempted fraud or simple incompetence.
