Note to self... [Jul. 1st, 2008|11:08 am]

[I'm not bothering with "fitness filters" since (a) I hardly ever friendslock anything anyway and (b) I don't post about fitness often enough to worry about cluttering your friends view]

Note to self: While going to do an aquarobics class is good for you, realising that you haven't had time to eat anything before the class and making do with a tube of Pringles and a Dime Bar in the car on the way to the gym doesn't necessarily put you on the road to success.

i think i'm slightly guilty of cluttering my flist with fitness posts. i promise i'll get over the excitement of the sportband soon. i just think the animated widget thing is so cool.

and hmmmm, i'd have to agree that wasn't a very good pre-workout meal.

I've only ever once been to an Ikea and it was packed solid and put me off the whole idea of ever visiting one again. Mind, if they have Dime Bar Cake, I could be tempted...

My local Morrison's had them in packs of four. I ate one, and put three in the fridge. Julia came to stay. I looked in the fridge and there were only two left...

Archaro, you are indeed wise in the way of Dime Bars. This disappearance has nothing whatsoever to do with me, and if evaporation is not the culprit, then it may be related to mouse activity in the kitchen - vengeance, perhaps because I destroyed their nest, killed their queen and nuked the entire site from orbit ... no - wait, that was something else...

Depends what your success criteria where.

I didn't change my eating habits while I joined a gym (cake featured on the lunch time menu rather more than they should), and I didn't lose any weight, for the first 3 months. I did go in a belt notch, and increased stamina in that time.
