Network engineering (of a sort), and a question about Haltemprice [Jul. 10th, 2008|12:45 pm]
Douglas Spencer
A friend has surprised and delighted me by offering me an unusual research project out of the blue (unpaid, but fun). I've been asked the sort of question network engineers don't get asked very often, with the addition of "... and I thought you'd be the person who would know".

In other news (see icon), has everyone got their popcorn in for tonight?

Obviously DD is going to get back his seat but what constitutes a win for DD?

Without a serious challenger he hasn't generated much publicity for the civil liberties agenda. Its going to take a seriously impressive turn-out and pro-DD vote to make this stunt look like anything a failure.

They've had to change the announcement arrangements because ElfinSaveTea have declared a stage would be unsafe for that many candidates.
