Bacon Explosion [Jan. 1st, 2009|09:15 pm]
Douglas Spencer
This'll be the "first post of January" if I do the end-of-year meme later... I'm not sure that's wise.

Anyway.

Remember Baconhenge?

We now present Bacon Explosion:
Sweet sauces are loaded with sugars, so they’ll give your fatty a nice glossy finish. Spicy and vinegar based sauces don’t contain as much, so they won’t set up as well. If you’re dead set on using those sauces, just cut them with a bit of honey and you’ll get the same effect.

Courtesy of peaceful_fox, as before.

You do realise, I hope, that for those of us who live in Croydon 'Bacon explosion' has very different connotations, probably involving extreme fanactivity?

And I trust you'll be bringing one of those to the First Chumlodge BBQ of 2009? ;@)
