Dreamwidth [May. 1st, 2009|09:20 am]
Douglas Spencer
Dreamwidth is a fork of the LJ codebase with substantial new development. It's committed to open access, interoperability, open source, community review, and respecting privacy.

Dreamwidth is now in open Beta. Open, as in more people can join and invite codes are easier to come by.

If you set and confirmed your email on your OpenID account before open beta opened OR if you were a member of one of the mailing lists, you'll be getting an invite from dreamwidth itself once they have a chance. Some people have already been promised invite codes from existing members.

If you're not yet a member and you're not in one of the above three categories and you still wish to join, then you'll need an invite code from elsewhere.

I have five. Comment if you're interested and I'll see what I can do. Four gone, and one I'm waiting on a reply about.

Comments screened for the moment, will probably be unscreened later.

I'd like a code. It would be a great bit of symmetry considering you were the one who gave me a LiveJournal code way back when.

Me, please? I completely failed to work out how to do the log in via lj thing and thus never managed to get on the Open ID list.

I've completely failed to find an email address for you, so I've sent you it via the form on your website.
