Setting me up for confusion later... [Jun. 22nd, 2009|08:29 am]
Douglas Spencer
Two people on my friends list are happy today... but I predict I'll be confused later.

On Saturday, one of my friends got two new cats -- siblings, one boy, one girl -- and the bolder, more adventurous one is called Nicodemus.

On Sunday, one of my friends got two new cats -- siblings, one boy, one girl -- and the bolder, more adventurous one is called Nicodemus.

They've never met, and they live about a hundred miles apart.

But I can't help thinking they're doing it deliberately.

Obviously, with Peake for a "Dad", they should have been Nip and Tuck...

And I now observe that the person who wrote that page can't spell "Peake" as in "Chessie & Peake the C&O Railroad cats".

Keep it simple and just call them all "darling"

My partner's cat Tycho is the Tabby Taliban - little fecker had a habit of lying on his side and reaching *under* the quilt to swipe my feet. He stopped that when he realised I was quite willing to chase him right out of the house with a pump spray filled with water :-)

Sorry to hear you lost one. Vic (my partner) has lost two in a row, the last after only 18 months, and we still miss them.

I suffer similar confusion on a regular basis, having both "Ms Siobahn" and "The Siobahn" on my FList. I read 90% of one's post yesterday with the voice of the *wrong* one in my head, it was only when I thought "oh, I didn't know she knew (partner of the other Sio)" that I noticed!

I wouldn't worry till Rod Serling steps out from behind a curtain.

Thank you for that, I was beginning to think it was just me.

Ooops.
Sorry about that.
For as long as I can remember I've wanted a tabby girl called Tabitha and a black boy called Nicodemus. And now I've got them :)
