Garden Party! [Aug. 12th, 2009|07:20 pm]
Douglas Spencer
It's my birthday soon -- I'll be 44 on September 27th. I'm thinking about holding a party here at home.

Poll #1443068 Birthday Party

Suppose I were to host a birthday party on Saturday September 26th in Bracknell, starting in mid-afternoon and going on until late...

I would be there.
I'd like to have been there but the date is impracticable
I'd like to have been there but the location is impracticable
I'd be interested in booking some of your rare and sought-after crash space

Here's the thing: no-one's touched the back garden for several years and it's full of unwanted plants seven feet high with stems an inch thick. I'll supply a small collection of tools (saws, forks, flamethrowers) so that we can prepare at least part of the garden sufficiently to stand a barbecue.

Work? -- Oh forget it then
Wo-hoo -- flamethrowers!
I'm very happy to come along and watch the others working
I've already told you that I can't be there you insensitive clod

Gosh what a busy weekend it sounds. Perhaps if you had Poly-what-not-con also held at your house than you would get extra hands to work in the garden with the rsvp plus 2.

Or something. It's too late in the evening for wit.

I really hope that you have a wonderful celebration and that as many of your friends can come and celebrate your birthday with you. After all you are a very special gent.

I shall try my very best to come and see you soon.
