Julia and I would have opposite answers to this question.

Poll #1456273 Holiday Offline

You and your partner arrive for a week at your hired holiday cottage in the depths of the English countryside and discover that there's hardly any mobile phone signal and no chance of an Internet connection.

Yaaaaaaay!

Oh dear god, wibbble and I would be having withdrawal symptoms about 5 minutes after arriving. I recently had occasion to be separated from my phone for about an hour (I physically could not reach it and there was no one around to give it to me) and I then memorised pretty much every detail about the room where I was, simply because my brain had to be working on something.

This, I think, is why I don't go away for holidays to cottages in the countryside.
