Reminder for that party. [Sep. 20th, 2009|11:11 am]
Douglas Spencer
Don't forget the party this Saturday!

If you get lost or stuck on the way in, feel free to phone for further instructions, or to request a lift from the station.

All the good crash space has been booked (Fran/John, Mel/Sarah, Max), but there's still a certain amount of floor available. People who prefer the more comfortable life can book into the nearby (five minutes walk) hotel, I can provide details if necessary.

Please comment if you're intending to come and you haven't already said so.

Unfortunately I'm doing (yet another) first aid course (woop emergency childbirth and medical waffle!) so can't really get down to see you.

I will try harder in the future :(

It seems unlikely that my party will provide an opportunity to rehearse the procedure for emergency childbirth.

Look forward to seeing you at some point.

How much notice do you need if Anna and I can come? We shouldnt need crash space as we can drive back to West London.

You don't need particular notice -- I have a complicated formula for counting "maybe"s and I can provision accordingly. It'll be good to see you if you can get here.

Shame. I missed the original announcement but would've love to have joined you. Sadly, I'm double booked this time. Maybe next.

Ah well. There's often too much in the calendar.

Sort of ditto ... I saw your original poll saying "suppose I had a party, would you come" and I said yes, and then I didn't see anything further so I've now double booked for a band rehearsal weekend 85 miles away ... I think that's just too far away :-(

Have a great time!

It's a pity, I could have checked to see if your bathroom was properly tiled ;-)

I finish work at 6pm, so assuming it's ok to turn up late I'll be there. I need to drive because I'm back at work at 8am - is parking going to be horrific?

Turning up late will be fine. If you're still working in the East Midlands and leave there at six it's conceivable the barbecue will have gone out by the time you get here, but there's always a grill and a hob...

Parking shouldn't be horrific, since people may have begun to leave by the time you get here.

Crikey, I really have been internetless for too long - I'm down the road from you now in Guildford. I even have a vague idea how to get to Bracknell but I bet I still get lost!

Look up my postcode in Google Maps. Essentially you follow signs to Bagshot, go straight across the M3 at J3 and then follow signs to Bracknell. I think it's A322 most of the way.
