Good Things [Oct. 6th, 2009|02:55 pm]
Douglas Spencer
Lunchtime today has been improved by three particular things.

- I have made fish soup, which is almost always a good thing. And I've eaten it, and in the process demonstrated that today is one of those occasions when it has, indeed, been a good thing.

- I have made, and eaten some of, a lemon posset. Results were similarly pleasing.

- I have discovered that the Book of the Week on BBC Radio 4 in a little while is to be this one.

Slightly off topic but you know what I can't STAND is those books they serialise at the end of Women's Hour and then repeat at 7.45 at night. Nasty sickly pink chick lit lite for dummies.

There, I feel better now. Good old Douglas Adams. Yay!
