Early August: Walk down hill in Edinburgh. Knee knackered. On OTC NSAIDs. Book in with doctor.
Mid August: Discuss knee. Get sent for x-ray.
Late August: X-ray normal. Get put on donkey-strength PO NSAIDs.
Late September: Get taken off PO NSAIDs before side-effects destroy my liver. Get sent for blood test.
Early October: Blood normal*. Knee still knackered. Back on OTC NSAIDs. Get referred to hospital.
*Blood normal meaning just as doctor would wish except for cholestorol level of 5.3
