My phone: *ring* *ring*

Me: "Hello..."

Ben: "Hello! Is it pissing down raining where you are?"

Me: *is nonplussed*

Me: *looks out of window*

Me: "It was raining hard about two minutes ago, and it looks like it might rain hard again in about two minutes time."

Ben: "Ah. Well, it's awful here. Lots of rain. dreadful."


Me: "So... was there anything?"

Ben: "Umm... Ah! Yes!" *talks about work*

I had that the yesterday with a recruitment guy... more willing to ask me if the weather is bad about 30 miles away than actually see what job I wanted to ask him about!
