Whale Rider

So today, amongst other things, I watched "Whale Rider".

Things I might have learnt, had I not already known:
  • Some things change.
  • Some things just don't change.
  • It's not always obvious which kind of thing a particular thing is.
  • Teachers learn more from their students than the other way round.
  • Old people don't necessarily understand young people...
  • ... and vice versa...
  • ... with certain exceptions.
  • Put whales into your movie, it'll probably be more successful.
In other news, not everything out of the NZ film industry features mountains.
