I'm in awe of their self-supporting glassware. My experience of chemistry involved a lot of dodgy clamp stands.

Yes, it's a rare compound discovered by Dr. B. Honeydew in 1978, and which causes acrylic polymers to become sentient.

That doesn't look much like what I would recognise as a bunsen burner, though admittedly I can't seem to find any pictures of Bunsen's original prototype. Also I note the animated version is generating some 'interesting' flame colours.

It looks more like the bunsens we have in biology labs that run on a gas canister rather than having gas taps.

Perhaps there is some flame testing going on?

Wasn't that grand!
I'm very fond of today's "50 years of human spaceflight" logo, as well. Having the rocket launch when one mouses over it is a nice touch.
