Here's a quotation from the programme book, describing one of the items I'll be helping to present:
- Late night on Saturday Ian Sorenen returns to the stage with 'Novacon Considered as a Helix of Semi-funny Skits'. He and his few remaining friends look at the history of Novacon and treat it with the sort of scathing contempt you'd expect. There will be fun, songs and a complete absence of veracity. But of course there will be a happy ending: you will be happy it's ended.
There's other good things going on too -- including some science talks, a guest-of-honour interview, lots of beer and Mexican food. Oh, and there will be several authors, editors, other writers and the like stood around in the bar eagerly hoping some fan will come along and buy them a pint.
